SPECIAL PRESENTATION
Dylan Childs, Graduate student at UWM will present his thesis research project
“Investigating the weathering mechanisms within lava tubes as an analogue for the surface geology of Venus”. For this research, Dylan traveled to the Big Island of Hawai'i to sample several lava tube systems. These samples were brought back to UW- Milwaukee for laboratory analysis. He will discuss his findings with WGS membership on Monday, January 8th, 2024.
